My first SLR camera was a Canon-AE1 film camera that I used while studying black and white photography during my first year of college. I went on to become a dark room assistant, and work with the campus photographer.
I credit my experiences with photography and darkroom work with helping me to develop my understanding of design concepts like composition, contrast, texture, light and rhythm. It has also been formative in my understanding of the experiences that architecture can create.
These days the camera I use the most often is my phone camera. I enjoy capturing and sharing little details that I notice in the course of a day, as well as, interesting architecture and places I encounter while traveling.
