About

I am a Master of Architecture student with an interest in urban design and adaptive reuse. My research at the University of Oregon has focused on adaptive reuse of former industrial buildings, the role of public buildings in creating third spaces, and the future of public space in cities.  My goal is to work on public projects such as schools, museums and district planning  with a focus on creating communities.

Architecture is a second career for me, in my previous career I was a higher education librarian where I focused on student instruction and library facilities and space planning. Outside of design, my interests include film, art and travel photography. I co-hosted a film review podcast for five years  before beginning my architecture program.
